Privacy policy

In short

Widase Mariam does not collect, transmit, sell, share, or use personal data for advertising or profiling. The app works offline and has no accounts, ads, analytics, tracking technologies, or cloud sync.

Information stored on your device

The app saves your chosen language and theme in local app preferences so it can remember them. Prayer content is bundled with the app. Qene Labs cannot access these preferences, and they are not sent off your device.

Local preferences remain until you clear the app’s storage or uninstall it. Your operating system may include app preferences in a device backup according to your device and account settings. Qene Labs does not receive or control that backup.

Permissions, third parties, and security

The release app does not request sensitive device permissions and contains no advertising or analytics SDKs. It does not send information to Qene Labs or another company. Local preferences are protected by the security controls and application sandbox provided by Android and your device.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

European privacy rights

People in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, consent withdrawal, and complaints to a supervisory authority. Widase Mariam does not collect or hold personal data, so Qene Labs has no app data on which to perform these requests. You can remove local preferences through Android settings or by uninstalling the app.

United States state privacy rights

Laws in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and other states may provide rights to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal data, and to opt out of its sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. Some laws also provide rights to limit sensitive data use, appeal a denied request, and receive equal service after exercising privacy rights.

The app does not collect or hold personal data and does not sell or share data, use it for targeted advertising, or perform qualifying profiling. There is therefore no app data to provide, correct, delete, or opt out. Qene Labs will not discriminate against anyone for making a privacy inquiry.

Changes

If the app’s data practices change, Qene Labs will update this policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration before the new practice begins. The effective date above will also change.
